1. Monkey Falls

Monkey Falls is a road on Side falls which is 28km away from Pollachi. You can reach here from Pollachi in 1 hour approx. An entrance fee of 30₹ is required to visit the falls. All types of gender and age people are allowed to bathe here. So plan accordingly. Beware of Monkeys while parking the Bike. Please watch the short video explaining the Monkey Falls.

2. Aliyar 

Park, Dam, Canel, River and Fishes out there is the main key points to note before visiting Aliyar. Park is generally 9 AM to 6 PM will be open except for the holidays or pandemic times. As usual, there is a small fee to enter the park around ₹30 – ₹50. On peak times such as Saturday and Sunday, it’ll be the crowd. Family and Couples occupies Aliyar Park, whereas friends will choose to swim at Aliyar Athupalam. The dam is 235ft in height. Total capacity is 3864.00 m.cft.

3. Valparai 

Are you a rider? Traveller? Nature Addict? Then yes, you’re in the right place.

Valparai is a great place to enjoy the climate and weather.

Follow the simple steps to enjoy the best out of Valparai. Fuel your Bike . Get started at 6.30 AM in Pollachi and reach Aliyar at 7.10 AM. Don’t stop, go ahead and cross the check post. You can arrive at heaven place which is mentioned below Around 9 AM in the photo below. Stop right there and spend at least 1 hour there with that small Tea shop. In another 1 hour, you’ll reach Valparai and then continue with your plan.

One pro tip is instead of enjoying your valuable time at Valparai, you can also enjoy more while driving to Valparai.

4. Masani Amman Temple, Pollachi 

From Pollachi, you can reach Anaimalai Masani Amman Temple within 20 – 30 minutes. From 6 AM to 1 AM temple is open and the Evening from 4 PM to 8 PM it’s available.

Rooms are available near the temple. There are a good parking facility and infrastructure. A clean place attracts visitors.

The place is very neat, you can sit and explore yourself for at least 30 minutes.

5. Arivu Thirukkovil, Pollachi 

Before we dive into how to reach the place, one thing to keep in mind is this place is Very Peaceful for all types of people.

This place is best known for practising Yoga.

Arivu Thirukkovil is a must-visit place if you’re driving to Aliyar or Valparai.

6. Topslip, Pollachi 

It comes under Anamalai mountain  range.

You can visit Topslip only by Car or bus. You can’t drive by Bike.

Bus services are comparatively less. So It’s better to bring your car or arrange a Cab.

This is a peaceful area for all nature and wildlife lovers.

7. Anaimalai 

Anai – Elephant and Malai – Mountain. So, This is also known as the Elephant Mountains.

Anaimalai is the highest hill station in Tamilnadu with over 2695M.

This hill divides both states of TN and KL.

Anaimalai includes the following Places.

• Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary
• Anaimalai Tiger Reserve
• Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary
• Eravikulam National Park

And all these places are friendly places of Elephant .

8. Sholayar Dam 

Sholayar dam is 20KM away from Valparai and 80 KM from Pollachi.

It is a must-visit place when you’re in Valparai.

Sholayar Dam is a part of the Sholayar Hydroelectric Project.

9. Vettaikaran Pudhur and Sethumadai

These are not tourist places. But still, if you’re a nature lover you can take a short or long drive there.

10. Attakatti and Loam’s View Point

While going up to the Valparai you can stop Loam’s viewpoint and start to make your day count by taking snaps .

11. Aliyar Aathupalam 

It is 0.5KM away from Aliyar.

Aathupalam is usually crowded with all types of people including kids and women.

12. Sri Gopalsamy Malai Temple – Lord Krishna

Gopalsamy Hills is a famous temple near Kottur and 20Km away from Pollachi. A beautiful place for the beginner who loves trekking. It’ll be around 30 mins trekking or 1.5Km walk. The Water stream at the top is crystal clear and tasty. We can taste the water even if you’re on the top of the river beside the temple. Dedicated to Lord Krishna, this temple will be open all Saturdays and some famous days.

Krishna Jeyanthi is a major festival celebrated here. Additionally, free food will be provided to every devotee by the temple management. Furthermore, there are tremendous parking spaces available for two-wheelers and enough reservations for cars.
